8100 Series Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device
– Designed for applications that require life-safety exit device with surface vertical rods for two-point locking (hollow metal or wood)
3100 Series Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device
– Designed for applications that require fire-rated exit device with surface vertical rods for two-point locking (hollow metal or wood)
Designed for use in applications with single doors or pairs of doors
- Push bar made of extruded aluminum (variety of finishes)
- Device is non-handed
- Push bar length: standard dimensioned for 762mm (30″), 914.4mm (36″), 1066.8mm (42″), and 1219.2mm (48″) openings

- The patented top latching mechanism utilizes a rotating top bolt which latches around the header strike, interlocking the door to the frame. Adjustable steel rods protected in contoured covers. The hexagonal, hardened steel bottom bolt is shielded in a cast housing for strength and stability. For wood frames, an additional plate is supplied for securing the header strike
